Trojan.Win32.KillProc.a

tag:Trojans

Once launched, the Trojan attempts to get a list of all processes launched on the system. It then locates Rnaaap.exe (the process for the Dial-up Networking connection in Windows 98/ME) and terminates it.

  1. Use Task Manager to terminate the Trojan process: pdd.exe
  2. Delete the original Trojan file (the location will depend on how it penetrated the victim machine).
  3. Update your antivirus databases and perform a full scan of the computer (download a trial version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus).

This Trojan is a Windows PE EXE file 1536 bytes in size.
