Editorex is a silly little Win32 worm virus. It is Windows PE EXE file about 11KB in length and written in VisualBasic. This virus is able to infect only Portuguese Windows.

The Editorex virus copies itself to the system under the name:

"c:\WINDOWS\Menu Iniciar\Programas\Iniciar\editor.com"

Editorex also copies itself to the A: floppy disk under the name:

"a:\editor.exe" name

The virus spreads from floppy disks to hard drives (in the event that a user runs the infected file from a floppy disk) and from hard drives to floppy disks.

The Editorex virus doesn't manifest itself in any way.
